Japan’s top three defense companies are poised to see a 25% surge in sales.
Japanese defense companies Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and IHI are expecting a significant increase in revenue from defense-related segments in the current fiscal year. According to their projections, their combined defense-related revenue will reach 1.51 trillion yen ($9.82 billion), representing a 25% bump. This growth is attributed to the Japanese government’s increasing defense spending. The projected revenue is for the fiscal year ending March 2025.
