Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has reported its highest-ever domestic sales of 117,000 units, achieving a 36% year-over-year (YoY) volume growth. The company’s cumulative sales, including domestic and export sales, reached 159,500 units. This milestone year also saw SAVWIPL cross the 2 million mark for Made-in-India vehicles, highlighting the scale and maturity of its manufacturing operations.

The MQB-A0-IN platform, developed specifically for India, has been a key driver of this growth, underpinning all locally manufactured Skoda and Volkswagen models. SAVWIPL’s internationalization strategy has also been successful, with cumulative exports surpassing 715,000 units, establishing India as a strategic global production base for the Group. The company has expanded its global footprint by exploring and entering new markets in the GCC and ASEAN regions.

The year has seen standout brand performances, with Volkswagen retaining its leadership in the premium sedan category and Skoda recording 107% growth driven by strong demand for the Kylaq and Octavia RS. The Group has increased its customer touchpoints to 700 across brands, creating a reliable and well-spread service network across India.

In the premium segment, Audi has introduced several new models, including the Q7 Signature Edition and the RSQ8 Performance, while Lamborghini has launched the Temerario and the Revuelto was named ‘Super Car of the Year’. Porsche has expanded to 13 points of sale and added new experiential formats to deepen customer engagement. Bentley has also joined SAVWIPL as the sixth brand, establishing new dealerships in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi.

According to Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India, the company’s performance is rooted in consistent execution and a long-term roadmap for India. The strength of its Make-in-India strategy, supported by deeper localization, scale, and a robust product pipeline, is visible across manufacturing, sales, and exports. As the company moves into 2026, its priorities remain clear: expanding its portfolio and widening its network in line with customer needs, while strengthening India’s role as a high-quality global manufacturing hub.

With a host of product launches planned in 2026, SAVWIPL aims to build on this momentum, strengthen customer engagement, and advance its sustainability commitments. The company is poised for further growth and expansion, reinforcing its belief that India will be an even larger contributor to the Group’s global growth journey.
