Audi is set to introduce a range of updates for its 2026 models, including the A5, A6, Q5, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron. The updates will focus on enhancing comfort, driving pleasure, and safety, with significant changes to the interior of the vehicles. One major update is the substitution of touch buttons on the steering wheel with physical scroll wheels, which will provide tactile precision and address customer feedback.

The S5 and S6 e-tron models will receive a new Dynamic Plus mode, enabling controlled rear-axle drift despite the advanced all-wheel-drive system. This feature will allow drivers to tap into the dynamic potential of their vehicles. Additionally, models built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform will feature a modernized regenerative braking system, allowing for smooth “one-pedal” mode stopping without using the friction brakes.

Audi will also introduce an advanced driver assistance system on PPE and PPC platform models. This system will enable vehicles to change lanes independently when the driver activates the turn signal. Furthermore, a “learned” parking maneuver function will be available, allowing vehicles to repeat previously saved routes to or from a parking space.

Other notable updates include the introduction of digital matrix LED headlights and digital OLED taillights with customizable light signatures on the new A6. Some models will also be equipped with a built-in dashcam that records 4K video while driving or parked. The interior will feature new mood scenarios, controlling lighting, sound, climate control, and massage functions. The on-board gaming system has been updated to allow for Bluetooth connections of controllers.

These updates demonstrate Audi’s commitment to enhancing the driving experience, safety, and comfort of its vehicles. With a focus on customer feedback and innovative technology, Audi is poised to deliver impressive 2026 models that cater to the evolving needs of drivers. The updates will provide a more immersive and engaging experience, with features such as advanced driver assistance, customizable lighting, and enhanced gaming capabilities. Overall, Audi’s 2026 models are set to raise the bar in the automotive industry.
