Citroën has made its debut in Formula E, marking the brand’s first venture into single-seater racing. As part of this new commitment, Nick Cassidy and Jean-Éric Vergne are the team’s first representatives in the championship. In a significant milestone, Tatiana Calderón became the first woman to drive a Citroën single-seater during a test day reserved for female drivers at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.

Calderón expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating that it was “fantastic to be back in Valencia, representing Citroën Racing at the official Formula E women’s test.” She praised the team and the circuit, feeling “right at home” and honored to be the first woman to drive a Citroën single-seater. The test day was a success, with Calderón finishing seventh in the overall standings, just 1.071 seconds behind Chloe Chambers of Mahindra, who set the fastest time.
