Kia India has achieved a significant milestone, posting a 30% year-over-year (YoY) sales growth in October 2025. The company sold a total of 29,556 units in the month, surpassing its previous year’s sales of 22,735 units in the same month. This marks the company’s best-ever monthly sales performance since entering the Indian market. The sales growth can be attributed to the strong performance of its popular models, including the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens Clavis.

The Sonet led the sales chart, with 12,745 units sold in October, followed by the Seltos, which sold 7,130 units. The newly launched Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EVs also contributed significantly to the company’s sales, with a combined total of 8,779 units sold in the month. The strong sales performance of these models demonstrates the company’s ability to cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers.

According to Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President and National Head, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, the company’s diverse product portfolio is resonating with consumers. The growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country is also validating the company’s direction towards sustainable mobility solutions.
