The AUDI E SUV Concept has been unveiled at the 2025 Guangzhou auto show, marking the second model from the AUDI brand, a joint venture between Audi and SAIC. The concept car is the brand’s latest offering, following the AUDI E5 Sportback, which was officially launched on September 16. The AUDI E SUV Concept continues the design language of the E5 Sportback, with a planned production launch in 2026.

The AUDI brand was launched in China on November 7, 2024, with the debut of its first concept car, the E concept. One notable difference between the AUDI brand and the Audi brand is the use of a letter logo instead of the iconic four-ring emblem. The E5 Sportback was developed from the AUDI E Concept and made its debut at the 2025 Shanghai auto show before its official launch.

The AUDI E SUV Concept features a similar front face design to the E5 Sportback, which is currently the brand’s most distinctive feature. The concept car also includes a LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof and digital rearview mirrors. According to AUDI, the E SUV Concept embodies simplicity and master complexity, outlining the dynamic posture of future luxury SUVs.

In addition to the AUDI E SUV Concept, the brand also announced a new variant for the E5 Sportback, the quattro performance edition, priced at RMB 279,900 ($39,370). The E5 Sportback is a mid-size sedan with a wagon-inspired silhouette, built on the Advanced Digitized Platform developed through Audi’s collaboration with SAIC. Previously, AUDI offered four versions of the E5 Sportback, starting at RMB 235,900, RMB 269,900, RMB 269,900, and RMB 319,900.

The AUDI brand is committed to launching new models, with the E SUV Concept being the latest addition to its lineup. With its sleek design and advanced features, the AUDI E SUV Concept is poised to make a significant impact in the luxury SUV market. As the brand continues to expand its offerings, it will be interesting to see how the AUDI E SUV Concept and other models perform in the competitive Chinese market.
