Jeep India has launched a unique initiative called “Trail of Faith” during Ganesh Utsav 2025, which has earned recognition from the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for the largest digital collection of Ganpati wishes wrapped on a Jeep Wrangler. The campaign, co-created with Xperia Group, aimed to blend culture, faith, and innovation by collecting digital wishes from devotees across the country. The wishes were then printed on a vinyl wrap and adorned on a Jeep Wrangler, turning it into a canvas of devotion.
The campaign was launched on August 27, 2025, and received over 110,000 wishes in the first week alone, with a total of 196,847 wishes by the day of Visarjan. Devotees could submit their prayers digitally through QR codes, Jeep India’s website, dealerships, and community outreach programs. On September 6, 2025, during Visarjan, the Wrangler adorned with lakhs of prayers pulled the Khetwadi Cha Raja idol for one kilometer, carrying the collective faith and devotion of people across India.
According to Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director of Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, the initiative was based on the insight that Ganesh Utsav is about collective prayers and shared celebrations. By digitizing this sentiment and giving it physical form on the Wrangler, Jeep India created an experience where devotees could see their faith move with Bappa himself. The campaign was brought alive through a 360-degree engagement strategy that spanned digital, physical, and broadcast channels, ensuring maximum visibility and inclusivity for devotees across India.
Saibal Gupta, Managing Director of Xperia Group, stated that the campaign aimed to create a massive “Trail of Faith” initiative with Jeep to engage devotees and deepen their faith in Lord Ganesha. The activation received an overwhelming response from the masses, with the sheer enthusiasm of the crowd at the iconic Khetwadi Cha Raja Ganpati pandal being palpable. The campaign’s unprecedented response and recognition from record books have made it a historic celebration of devotion. The “Trail of Faith” initiative has set a new benchmark for innovative marketing campaigns that blend culture, faith, and technology.
