Chris Slix, a YouTuber, surprised his mechanic, Mickey, with a new car for Christmas, but there was a catch – Mickey had to help repair it first. The original car, an Audi A3, had 60 faults, including a history of being written off and numerous issues with the engine, transmission, and bodywork. Slix decided to gift Mickey a Hyundai i30N Performance, which he had previously owned and had accumulated some issues. To give the car to Mickey, Slix had to go through five steps: convincing Mickey the car was being sold, getting him to complete the repairs, making the car look more “festive”, making Mickey believe the car had been sold to another buyer, and finally, surprising him with the new car. The repairs included replacing the clutch, windscreen, and brakes, as well as removing a dent and changing the wheel color. The surprise was a heartwarming moment, with Mickey initially shocked and then overjoyed, and the two embracing in a hug.
