BMW India has announced a price hike for its vehicles, effective January 2025. The move is expected to impact the prices of its entire range of luxury cars, including sedans, SUVs, and performance models. The cost increase is said to range between 5 to 10%, depending on the model and variant. This means that the prices of some BMW models could go up by as much as ₹10 lakh (approximately $13,000). The company cites increasing costs, including production and raw material costs, as well as foreign exchange fluctuations, as the reasons behind the price hike. Despite this, BMW India is confident that its products will continue to attract customers due to their quality, performance, and luxury features. The company is also investing in its domestic manufacturing capabilities and is committed to providing its customers with “the best possible products and services”. In the past, the company has raised prices in response to changing market conditions, with the last increase being in 2022.
