Citroen India has introduced new variants of its C3 and Aircross X models, available exclusively on a bookings-only basis. The company will produce these variants based on confirmed customer orders, allowing for more efficient production and alignment with demand. The new variants include the Aircross X Max Turbo five-seater and the C3 Live (O).

The Aircross X Max Turbo five-seater is priced at ₹12.41 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in three exterior paint shades: Deep Forest Green, Polar White, and Perla Nera Black. The interior features a rear centre armrest with cupholders, a three-step reclining seatback, and 60mm of additional knee room. This variant is designed to provide more comfort and space for passengers.

On the other hand, the Citroen C3 Live (O) variant is priced at ₹5.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned below the higher variants. It is offered in a single paint shade and features body side cladding with chrome inserts, chrome-accented fog lamp housing, and wheel covers. The C3 Live (O) also comes with a range of features, including a reverse parking camera, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

According to Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director, Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, the introduction of these new variants is guided by the Citroën 2.0 strategy, which involves listening to customer feedback and acting quickly to meet their demands. By adopting a bookings-led mechanism for select variants, Citroen aims to align its production capacity with real demand, sharpen its portfolio, and provide stronger value to customers.

The launch of these new variants marks the beginning of a new approach for Citroen India, with the company planning to introduce more variants and features based on customer demand. Prospective buyers can now consider these new options when looking to purchase a Citroen C3 or Aircross X, with the assurance that the company is committed to meeting their needs and preferences.
