The Citroën Aircross X is an updated version of the C3 Aircross, with significant changes in styling and equipment. The new model is a more versatile and butch iteration of the C3 hatchback, with the ability to seat up to seven occupants. The Aircross X features LED projector headlamps, new 17-inch alloy wheels, and bolder rear badging, giving it a more premium look. Inside, the cabin has been improved with dark brown upholstery, ventilated front seats, automatic air-conditioning, and ambient lighting, creating a lounge-like space.

The Aircross X also comes with a range of tech features, including a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a surround-view 360° camera, and a seven-inch digital TFT driver information cluster. Additionally, the car features a wireless charger, USB Type-C ports, and an intelligent assistant called Cara, which can take notes, set reminders, and provide information on weather, maps, and navigation.

The Aircross X is available in various trim levels, including the top-spec “Max” trim, which comes with 40 smart features through the MyCitroën Connect app. These features include remote lock/unlock and start, geo-fencing, and fuel status checking. The car is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 110 hp and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth six-speed automatic transmission.

On the road, the Aircross X performs well, with a smooth and linear acceleration and a comfortable ride. However, the steering feels light, and the suspension can be jerky on rough surfaces. The car also features a “Flexi Pro” third row and spacious, three-step reclining second-row seats, making it a versatile multi-utility vehicle (MUV).

Citroën has addressed some quality issues from the older model, and the Aircross X is priced competitively, starting from Rs 8.32 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry “You” manual trim. The top-spec Max 5+2 AT trim is priced at Rs 14.10 lakh. Overall, the Aircross X is a more refined and versatile car, with a range of features and a competitive price tag.
