Škoda Auto India has reported a significant increase in sales, with 5,491 units sold in November 2025, representing a 90% year-on-year increase. This growth has contributed to the company crossing the 5 lakh cumulative sales mark since entering the Indian market. The company’s success can be attributed to its expanding network, ownership programs, and diverse product portfolio.
Škoda’s sedan line-up, including the Octavia and Slavia models, continues to play a crucial role in its portfolio. The Octavia nameplate, which recently completed 25 years in India, saw a successful return in its RS form, with all allocated units selling out within minutes of bookings opening. The Slavia sedan is available in 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI options, catering to a range of customer preferences.
In addition to its sedan offerings, Škoda’s SUV range covers multiple price points, with models such as the Kodiaq and Kushaq. The Kushaq, built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, has received five-star safety ratings for adult and child occupants under Global NCAP’s updated protocols. The Kylaq has also received a five-star rating under Bharat NCAP, demonstrating the company’s commitment to safety.
Škoda’s growth strategy focuses on strengthening its customer reach, with over 320 customer touchpoints across 180 cities. The company intends to maintain its momentum by expanding its customer programs and product range. According to Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, the company’s sales performance is a result of its efforts to enhance customer experience and provide a wide range of offerings.
With its highest sales recorded for the first 10 months of 2025, Škoda Auto India is poised for continued growth and success in the Indian market. The company’s dedication to providing a diverse range of products, expanding its network, and prioritizing customer satisfaction has contributed to its impressive sales figures. As the company moves forward, it is likely to remain a key player in the Indian automotive industry.
