The Formula E Season 12 has kicked off with a number of significant changes to the driver lineup. The most notable change is the addition of Citroen Racing to the grid, replacing NEOM McLaren. Nick Cassidy, who finished second in last season’s Drivers’ Championship, has joined Citroen Racing alongside Jean-Eric Vergne, who has moved from DS Penske. Taylor Barnard, a former NEOM McLaren driver, has found a new home at DS Penske, where he will partner Maximilian Gunther.

Other notable moves include António Felix da Costa joining Jaguar TCS Racing, replacing Nick Cassidy, and partnering Mitch Evans. The Nissan team remains unchanged, with Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato returning as teammates. Meanwhile, 2022 Formula 2 Champion Felipe Drugovich has joined Andretti Formula E, partnering Jake Dennis.

The season kicked off with the Sao Paulo E-Prix in Brazil, with the final taking place on Saturday at 2:05 pm local time.
