The Skoda Kushaq is set to receive a facelift in 2026, and recent spy shots have revealed some exciting updates. One of the most notable additions is a panoramic sunroof, which is expected to be offered with the top-spec variants. This feature is already available in many of its competitors, including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos. The panoramic sunroof will not only provide natural lighting and a sense of roominess but also give the Kushaq a more premium feel.

In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the Kushaq facelift is also expected to feature a Level 2 ADAS suite, which is becoming increasingly common in the compact SUV segment. This advanced safety feature will provide improved safety for passengers, building on the Kushaq’s already impressive 5-star rating in Global NCAP crash tests. The SUV is already equipped with a range of safety features, including 6-airbags, electronic stability control, and multi-collision braking.

Other updates expected with the Kushaq facelift include a 360° surround view camera setup, which will provide a comprehensive view of the vehicle’s surroundings. The powertrain options are expected to remain the same, with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine generating 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit generating 150 hp and 250 Nm. However, Skoda is expected to replace the 7-speed DSG transmission with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission sourced from AISIN at a later stage.

The addition of a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS suite will help the Kushaq stay competitive in the compact SUV segment, where features like these are becoming increasingly essential. With its impressive safety record and premium features, the Kushaq facelift is expected to be a strong contender in the market. The updates are expected to be launched in 2026, and test mules have already been spotted with partial camo, indicating minor cosmetic touch-ups to the exteriors. Overall, the Skoda Kushaq facelift is shaping up to be a significant improvement over the current model, with a range of exciting updates and features that are sure to appeal to buyers.
