The sensor was replaced at a cost of INR 900, which the owner found to be a good deal.
The owner’s wife is currently learning to drive, and they have opted for B2B insurance, which they found to be cheaper than regular insurance. They also replaced the battery, which had failed after just three years, with an Amaron FLO60 battery sourced from a local shop in Kerala.
The owner has also installed a 70mai A400 dash cam, which they found to be a good value for money. However, they note that the recording quality is not great at night, especially for the rear camera. They are also considering upgrading their fog lamps, as one of the aftermarket LED fog lamps failed due to poor installation.
In terms of maintenance, the owner uses a Jopatsu duster for dusting and a WaveX waterless wash liquid for washing small stains. However, they are not satisfied with the quality of the new Jopatsu duster and are looking for alternative brands. They also note that the WaveX liquid leaves white streaks and requires a microfiber cloth to wipe clean.
