Bay Street, a popular destination, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary on November 23rd with a fun-filled day of live entertainment, family activities, and a grand prize draw for a brand new Citroën C3. The celebration marked the end of a month-long campaign that began on October 29th, where shoppers who spent €25 or more at any Bay Street store or restaurant could enter to win weekly prizes and the grand prize. The campaign was a huge success, with many visitors enjoying the various activities and entertainment options available.

The anniversary celebration featured a vibrant program of live music, performances, dancers, and animators, as well as face painting, roaming characters, and family-friendly games. The event was hosted by Taryn Mamo Cefai and Owen Bonnici, who kept the energy high throughout the afternoon. The highlight of the event was the live draw for the Citroën C3, which was won by Emma Camilleri. Weekly winners during the campaign also received a selection of vouchers.

According to Bay Street CEO David Spiteri, the 25th anniversary milestone reflects the complex’s ongoing commitment to its visitors. “Bay Street has always been about creating a welcoming environment for families and our community,” he said. The complex will continue to invest in its facilities, with plans to upgrade all six escalators starting on January 6, 2026. The works will be carried out while the complex remains fully operational, ensuring minimal disruption to visitors.

With a projected footfall of four million in 2025, Bay Street remains a hub for families and the larger community. The complex consistently organizes events, free entertainment, interactive experiences, and memorable moments for visitors of all ages. The 25th anniversary celebration was a testament to Bay Street’s commitment to its visitors, and the complex looks forward to continuing to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for years to come. Overall, the event was a huge success, and Bay Street is excited to see what the future holds.
