TVS Motor Company has launched its most powerful scooter, the TVS NTORQ 150, which is billed as India’s first Hyper Sport Scooter. The NTORQ 150 is designed for a new generation of riders who demand both style and substance, and it builds on the legacy of the NTORQ range with race-inspired performance, cutting-edge technology, and segment-first safety enhancements. The scooter features a 149.7cc engine, delivering 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm, and can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, making it the fastest in its category.
The NTORQ 150 boasts striking design elements, including MULTIPOINT projector headlamps, wing-style aerodynamic panels, colored alloy wheels, and a signature exhaust note. The scooter also features a high-resolution TFT instrument cluster with over 50 smart features, including navigation, live tracking, vehicle diagnostics, Alexa and smartwatch connectivity, and over-the-air software updates. The NTORQ 150 also features TVS SmartXonnect, a next-generation interface with an adaptive display, 4-way navigation switch, and integrated telematics.
In terms of safety, the NTORQ 150 includes ABS and traction control, both firsts in its class, as well as crash and theft alerts, hazard lamps, emergency brake warning, and follow-me-home headlamps. The scooter also features telescopic front suspension, adjustable brake levers, a patented E-Z center stand, and 22 liters of under-seat storage, offering practicality alongside performance. The NTORQ 150 is being introduced at an introductory price of Rs 1,19,000 (ex-showroom, India).
