TVS has created a buzz among potential buyers by teasing the launch of the Jupiter 125 on its social media handles, scheduled for 2025. The updated scooter is expected to come with visual changes, including a beige seat and bronze body panels, giving it a fresh new look. Additionally, TVS may introduce new color options to further enhance the scooter’s appeal. The Jupiter has always been known for its practicality, featuring large seats, under-seat storage, and a convenient fuel filler integrated into the front. The floorboard area is also spacious, adding to the scooter’s usability.

In terms of technology, the Jupiter 125 may come with an updated instrument cluster with added functionality, making it more appealing to modern buyers. The scooter is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine with a two-valve head, producing 8.2 HP and 10.5 NM of torque. The engine is coupled with a CVT gearbox, providing smooth and effortless gear shifts. The braking system features a 220mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, ensuring safe and reliable stopping.

The Jupiter 125 will compete with other popular scooters in the 125cc segment, including the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Hero Destini 125. Currently, the Jupiter retails at Rs. 80,740 (ex-showroom), and it is expected that the price may increase slightly with the launch of the updated model. Overall, the TVS Jupiter 125 is expected to be a significant update to the existing model, with a focus on visual changes, technological advancements, and enhanced practicality.
