Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the updated version of its popular hatchback, the Altroz, in the Indian market. The company has released a teaser video that provides a sneak peek into the car’s refreshed interior. The Altroz facelift is set to be revealed on May 9, with sales commencing on May 22.
The updated Altroz boasts a revamped interior, featuring a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster. The instrument cluster can be configured to display Google Maps, adding to the car’s convenience and navigation features. Additionally, the Altroz facelift comes equipped with a 360-degree camera and a single-pane sunroof, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The exterior of the car has also undergone significant changes, although the details are still under wraps. However, it is expected to feature a major makeover, giving the Altroz a fresh and modern look. Mechanically, the updated Altroz will remain unchanged, retaining the same engine options as the outgoing model. These include a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The launch of the updated Altroz is highly anticipated, and the company is expected to reveal more details about the car’s features, pricing, and variants in the coming days. With its refreshed interior, new features, and unchanged mechanicals, the Altroz facelift is likely to continue to be a strong contender in the Indian hatchback market.
