Hero MotoCorp is set to introduce updates for the best-selling Hero Splendor+, which has sold over 4 crore units worldwide. The new test vehicle has been spotted, fueling speculation about potential upgrades. Although major changes are unlikely, the bike may receive new color options to comply with the stricter OBD-2B emission norms.

The OBD-2B standard requires vehicles to continuously monitor emissions via advanced onboard diagnostics. The updated Splendor+ is expected to maintain its performance specifications, which include a 97.2 cc air-cooled engine producing 8.02 PS and 8.05 Nm of torque. The bike will continue to feature a 5-speed gearbox and the same hardware specifications, including a tubular double cradle frame, telescopic front forks, and 5-step adjustable dual rear shock absorbers.

The spy shots of the test vehicle do not provide a clear view of any new features, but the graphics on the side panels appear slightly different from the current model, suggesting a more refined aesthetic for the 2025 Splendor+. The bike is expected to retain its compact and agile characteristics, with a weight of 112 kg and ground clearance of 165 mm.

In terms of pricing, the base variant of the Splendor+ starts at Rs 77,176, with various color options available, including Black Grey Stripe, Force Silver, Sports Red Black, Black Red Purple, and Blue Black. The Splendor+ i3S variant is available at a starting price of Rs 78,426, while the all-black variant is also available at the same price. The Matt Axis Grey (Splendor+ 01 Edition) variant is a premium option available at a starting price of Rs 79,926.
