This year’s winner is former Marine Lance Corporal Richard Espinoza IV, from Eagle Mountain Lake, Texas, who served as a diesel mechanic in the U.S. Marines.
Espinoza was chosen from among thousands of entries submitted by veterans and their families. In a surprise announcement, he was awarded the tractor during a ceremony, and he expressed his gratitude and excitement at the opportunity. “I was shocked, I couldn’t believe it…I plan on helping my dad around his house. He’s thinking about buying some bigger property, and I’d be able to use it a lot there,” he shared.
