The 2024 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 report has revealed the list of India’s most valuable private entities. Reliance Industries Ltd. tops the list with a value of Rs 17.5 lakh crore, followed by Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. at Rs 16.1 lakh crore, and HDFC Bank Ltd. at Rs 14.2 lakh crore. The report has listed the 500 most valued private entities in India, with a minimum threshold of Rs 9,580 crore, a rise from Rs 6,700 crore previously. This increased threshold reflects the significant financial growth of Indian companies.

Notably, this year’s report marks a milestone, as every company on the list has achieved a revenue of over $1 billion. The cumulative revenue of these companies has surpassed $1 trillion, which is more than a quarter of India’s GDP. This achievement highlights the country’s economic progress and the success of Indian businesses on the global stage.
