The advertisement supposedly reads, “Grandfather ate, grandmother ate, father ate, mother ate, come sister you also eat, call brother-in-law as well”. The post claimed to show the billboard, but it has been digitally altered to misrepresent the original ad. Amul has refuted the claim, stating that the viral billboard is fake. A Google Lens search led to the original advertisement, which was actually used by Indiamart, not Amul. Furthermore, an archived X post by Amul from 2019 featured the same caricature, which marked Priyanka Gandhi’s entry into politics. A report by The Indian Express from 2019 confirmed that Amul released an original topical in January 2019, which was also archived on the website. Amul’s original post clarified that the viral billboard was fake and provided evidence to support this.
