Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF) is expected to experience double-digit revenue growth this fiscal year, driven by strong demand for its products. According to MD Jayen Mehta, the company saw a 8% increase in turnover to Rs 59,445 crore in 2023-24, with a demand of nearly Rs 60,000 crore. The first eight months of 2024-25 have seen increased demand across categories, including milk, cheese, and ice cream. GCMMF has invested 80% of its planned Rs 11,000 crore to expand capacity. As a cooperative, it prioritizes farmer welfare, supporting 36 lakh farmers across 18,600 Gujarat villages and ranking 8th globally in milk processing, with exports to 50 countries.
