Himalaya Wellness has launched the 1derwoman Academy, a digital platform that aims to bridge the gap between young girls and women cricketers. The initiative is an extension of the company’s 1derwoman program, which was introduced to inspire and motivate young girls to pursue their passions. The 1derwoman Academy is designed to provide a personalized and interactive experience, where young girls can receive guidance, motivation, and support from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women’s team.

The platform is built around a chatbot that allows users to interact with the RCB women players, including Smriti Mandhana, and receive personalized responses and tips. The experience is designed to feel personal and achievable, with the goal of turning inspiration into action and role models into real mentors. Participants who complete the journey will receive a certificate, and their final submission will serve as a scholarship application.

The 1derwoman Academy is part of Himalaya Wellness’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, which aims to create meaningful and long-term impact. The company believes that by providing a structured pathway for learning, confidence, and growth, it can support young girls in their journey to become successful cricketers. The initiative is also supported by a cricket tournament that was held in collaboration with the Female Cricket Academy, where over 200 young girls participated and 25 got the chance to meet the RCB women players.

The launch of the 1derwoman Academy coincides with National Girl Child Day, and it aims to empower young girls to pursue their dreams and become part of the growing women’s cricket movement in India. By providing access to mentorship, guidance, and resources, Himalaya Wellness hopes to inspire a new generation of young girls to take up cricket and become role models for others. The company believes that the 1derwoman Academy is a meaningful extension of its brand purpose, which goes beyond just selling products to nurturing confidence, capability, and long-term impact.

The 1derwoman Academy offers 100 scholarships to aspiring young cricketers, and participants can register for the program through the company’s website. The initiative has been welcomed by the cricket community, and it is seen as a significant step towards promoting women’s cricket in India. With the 1derwoman Academy, Himalaya Wellness is taking a bold step towards creating a platform that can inspire and support young girls to pursue their passions and become successful cricketers.
