The Boston University women’s swimming and diving team emerged victorious in a double dual meet against Colgate and Fairfield, held at the BU Aquatic Center. The Terriers dominated the competition, winning 24 out of 32 events and showcasing their strength and depth in the pool.

The meet began with the 200-yard medley relay, where the BU team of Alexandra Manning, Emily Scifo, Julianne Koch, and Mia Zahab set the tone for the day with a first-place finish. The Terriers continued to excel in the individual events, with multiple swimmers earning top-three finishes in their respective events.

In the 1000-yard freestyle, BU’s Mia Zahab and Julianne Koch took the top two spots, with Zahab touching the wall in 10:34.11. The Terriers also swept the top three spots in the 200-yard freestyle, with Alexandra Manning leading the way in 1:54.41.

The diving events were also a highlight for the Terriers, with BU’s divers taking the top two spots in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. In the 1-meter event, BU’s Katie Sullivan took first place with a score of 244.42, while teammate Rachel Perryman finished second with a score of 235.12.

The Terriers’ dominance continued in the second half of the meet, with BU swimmers taking the top spot in seven of the final eight events. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Emily Scifo touched the wall in 2:24.19 to take first place, while teammate Mia Zahab won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:05.11.

The meet concluded with the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the BU team of Alexandra Manning, Julianne Koch, Mia Zahab, and Emily Scifo took first place with a time of 3:34.11. The Terriers’ impressive performance earned them a 181-73 win over Colgate and a 194-60 win over Fairfield.
