Insurance regulator IRDAI is proposing changes to regulations that prescribe minimum rural, social sector and motor third-party obligations of insurers. “A new strategy is necessary to achieve the objective of ‘Insurance For All’, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) said, laying down new targets and changes to the specifications that are in force since 2016-17.
