Chennai: Indian Bank on Monday reported a 47% growth in net profit at 1,447 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2023 over 984 crore in the corresponding quarter last year (FY22). The increase was on account of including growth in net income, improvement in recovery and decline in Gross Non Performing Assets (GNPA).The public sector bank’s Y-oY net profit grew by 34% at 5,282 crore in FY23, when compared with the previous year of FY22 at 3,945 crore.
