While the police have registered a case of accidental death at Gaekwad Haveli police station, a purported suicide note was found on Joshi that mentioned Inspector B K Khachchar, posted in the Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch.
The police said Joshi, a native of Dedarda village in Kheda, stayed at a paying guest accommodation at Shivranjini.
