CHENNAI: Private sector Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) on Monday reported a net profit of Rs 412 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2023, which is 42.6% growth over the corresponding quarter of FY23 at Rs 289 crore.Its net interest income for Q3 FY24 increased by 12.6% at Rs 1,001 crore against Rs 889 crore for corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, the bank’s net interest margin dropped marginally to 4.32% during the October-December period of 2023-24, which was at 4.36 % in the year ago quarter. The net non-performing assets (NNPA) stood at 0.42% of net advances as on December 31, 2023 at Rs 305 crore against 0.90% as on December 31, 2022 at Rs 550 crore.A statement here…
