Indian headline indices ended in the red on Saturday, conceding their early gains amid selling pressure in FMCG, IT and pharma sectors despite a good show by banks. While S&P BSE Sensex settled at 71,424, down by 260 points or 0.36%, the broader Nifty closed 50 points or 0.23% lower at 21,571.80.The market breadth was skewed in the favour of bears as 30 Nifty stocks closed with declines.
