India’s largest airline, IndiGo, is expanding its operations at its North India hub, Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. As part of this expansion, the airline is launching three new international routes from Delhi. The first route will connect Delhi to Denpasar, Bali in Indonesia, with daily services starting from October 24. The second route will link Delhi to Krabi in Thailand, with four flights per week starting from October 26. The third route will connect Delhi to Manchester in the United Kingdom, with four flights per week beginning from November 15. This Manchester service marks the beginning of IndiGo’s long-haul services from Delhi.
In addition to the new international routes, IndiGo is also increasing the frequency of its flights on the Delhi-Bangkok route to double daily services, effective from October 26. On the domestic front, the airline is introducing additional daily, non-stop services on nine routes from Delhi to various cities in India, including Rajkot, Vadodara, Patna, Goa, Shirdi, Nagpur, Nashik, Jabalpur, and Raipur. Furthermore, IndiGo is introducing Purnea in Bihar as a brand-new, non-stop destination from Delhi, bringing the total domestic enhancement to 10 daily non-stop services.
The expansion of IndiGo’s operations at its North India hub is expected to increase connectivity and provide more options for passengers traveling to and from Delhi.
