Several Indian airlines have launched discount schemes to attract travelers ahead of the festival and winter season. IndiGo’s Grand Runway Fest offers domestic fares starting at ₹1,299 and international tickets from ₹4,599, with a booking window open until September 21, 2025, and a travel period between January 7 and March 31, 2026. The airline has highlighted destinations such as Dubai, Bangkok, and Singapore in its promotional fares. Air India Express is running a “Book Direct” campaign, which provides discounted fares for passengers booking directly through the airline’s website, mobile app, or airport counters. The campaign covers 41 domestic and 17 international destinations.
Regional carrier FLY91 has waived convenience fees for all bookings made during September, exclusively for bookings through the airline’s official website and across its domestic routes. These schemes aim to lock in advance bookings during lean months and prepare for high demand during the year-end and festival travel season. International airlines are also offering discounts for Indian travelers. Emirates is offering a dedicated student discount, with an additional 5% discount on economy class tickets for travelers aged between 16 and 31, using the promo code STUDENT. The scheme is valid for journeys completed by September 30, 2025, and also includes extra baggage allowance and flexibility on ticket changes.
British Airways has introduced a seasonal Flight and Holiday Sale, covering routes between India and the United Kingdom. Discounted fares apply to flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with travel periods running from August 3 to November 29, 2025, and again between December 28, 2025, and March 31, 2026. The airline has included both economy and premium cabins in the offer, though seats are limited and subject to availability. These discounts are part of a broader effort by airlines to attract travelers and boost bookings during the off-season. By offering competitive fares and additional benefits, airlines aim to incentivize travelers to book early and take advantage of the discounts before they expire.
