Air India has awarded cargo and ground handling contracts to SATS and its subsidiary Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) at various airports across the globe. The airline has renewed 11 contracts and awarded 14 new contracts, expanding its partnership with SATS and WFS. The new contracts cover cargo handling and ground handling services at airports including Chicago, London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Milan, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong, among others. The CEO of SATS’ gateway services in APAC, Bob Chi, stated that the airline is honored to have been chosen to represent Air India at these locations, highlighting SATS’ capabilities and global network. Air India’s head of cargo, Ramesh Mamidala, emphasized the importance of streamlining logistics and enhancing service levels in the airline’s transformation efforts, and looks forward to delivering a world-class operation with the expanded partnership.
