Pune: The sales of electric vehicles (EV) in the city dropped to mere 1,547 units in April on the back of the phasing out of FAME subsidy on March 31. The sales of EV had increased in the previous month on account of pre-buying as consumers rushed to purchase the EVs at the subsidised cost before the deadline.
