Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the launch of its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS, in the Indian market. This marks Suzuki’s entry into the global electric two-wheeler segment. The scooter is developed under Suzuki’s electric vehicle strategy and is designed for everyday urban use. The e-ACCESS is powered by Suzuki e-Technology and is based on five core parameters, including evaluations for water submersion, temperature variations, vibration, impact, and battery safety.

The scooter is equipped with a 3.072 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which has a longer lifecycle than Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) batteries. The claimed range is 95 km, with a charging time of 6 hours and 20 minutes using a portable charger. The electric motor produces 4.1 kW of power and 15 Nm of torque, and the scooter offers three riding modes, reverse mode, and regenerative braking.

The Suzuki e-ACCESS is priced at ₹1,88,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available for booking at authorized Suzuki dealerships across India. The company is also offering an extended warranty of up to 7 years or 80,000 km, a buy-back assurance of up to 60% after three years, and loyalty benefits for existing Suzuki customers. The scooter will also be available for purchase through Flipkart once sales commence.

Suzuki has also introduced a new dual-tone color option, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, in addition to the existing three color options. The company has a sales and service network of over 1,200 outlets across India, with DC fast chargers available at more than 240 outlets and AC portable chargers available at all outlets.

According to Mr. Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., the Suzuki e-ACCESS represents Suzuki’s first global strategic battery electric vehicle, offering a long-life battery, agile handling, seamless acceleration, and high-quality fit and finish. The company aims to support customers throughout their electric mobility journey with its “By Your Side” approach. With the launch of the e-ACCESS, Suzuki is set to make a significant impact in the Indian electric two-wheeler market.
