VAHDAM India, a wellness brand that brings India’s finest teas, herbs, and botanicals to global markets, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by releasing its Annual Impact Report. The report highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability, community empowerment, and responsible business practices, which are central to its mission of “Do Good by Doing Good.” Since its founding in 2015, VAHDAM India has redefined the global wellness space by building a digitally native, climate- and plastic-neutral brand that ships directly from India to over 150 countries.

The company’s Founder and CEO, Bala Sarda, expressed his gratitude for the milestone and emphasized the importance of the Annual Impact Report in showcasing the company’s progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. The report highlights several key achievements, including a 25% reduction in plastic usage, resulting in a total plastic footprint of just 24 tonnes. Additionally, the company has recovered and recycled over 24,000 kg of low-value plastic waste in partnership with rePurpose Global.

VAHDAM India has also maintained its Plastic Neutral and Climate Neutral certification for the fifth consecutive year, with a net-zero plastic and carbon footprint since 2019. The company allocates at least 1% of its revenue to its flagship CSR initiative, TEACH ME, which aims to uplift children in tea- and spice-growing regions. In the past year, the program has positively impacted 30,000 children across Darjeeling, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, and Assam, and has established 100 digital classrooms and supported 90 plantations with tech-enabled education infrastructure.

Looking ahead, VAHDAM India is committed to expanding its impact by accelerating emissions reduction through increased investments in renewable energy, driving innovation in sustainable shipping and packaging, and collaborating with global partners to implement best-in-class environmental practices. The company also plans to introduce scholarships that will cover up to 100% of educational expenses for deserving students from tea and spice-growing regions. With its strong commitment to sustainability and community empowerment, VAHDAM India is poised to continue making a positive impact on the world while growing its business responsibly.
