The 49th edition of Middle East Energy, a leading energy summit, concluded its third day at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring significant international participation, including a strong presence from India. The Indian pavilion, coordinated by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India, showcased the latest advancements in energy technology from 45 Indian companies among the 240 exhibitors.
The event brought together over 150 energy leaders and experts to discuss the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, long-term planning, and advanced battery pack technology on the energy sector. The conference emphasized decarbonization strategies, with technologies like carbon capture and hydrogen production playing key roles in discussions. Industry projections suggest that renewable energy will account for 14% of the region’s power generation by 2035, with solar photovoltaics leading this transition.
The exhibition showcased cutting-edge technologies across the entire energy value chain, including renewable energy, smart grids, energy storage solutions, and clean mobility options. A major addition to this year’s event was the launch of The Battery Show Middle East, reflecting the region’s growing interest in eMobility and advanced energy storage solutions.
The strong Indian representation highlighted the country’s growing influence in the global energy technology sector and its commitment to participating in the worldwide energy transition. The event fostered collaboration among global stakeholders to accelerate renewable energy adoption and address key challenges in energy storage and electric vehicle infrastructure development.
