Ola Electric has announced plans to launch six new e-scooters and six e-bikes in India, with a launch expected to start in July 2025. The e-scooter lineup will include the S2 City, S2 Sports, S2 Tourer, and S3 Grand Adventure, among others. The e-scooters will be based on the new S2 platform, with the S2 City designed for family use and the S2 Sports focused on performance. The S2 Tourer will be suited for touring and will have the highest range.

The e-bike lineup will feature the Roadster X, Roadster X+, Sportster, and the top-end Roadster Pro, which will have a claimed top-speed of 194kmph and a claimed range of 579km. Other e-bikes in the lineup include the Arrowhead, Cruiser, Adventure, and the Diamondhead, which is expected to be the flagship offering.

The S2 platform will be designed to compete with other electric scooter manufacturers, while the S3 platform may be more niche-oriented, catering to a specific audience. The electric motorcycle segment is more competitive, with Ola Electric needing to deliver its products to compete with established manufacturers.

The company has already delayed the launch of the Roadster X, but is expected to start delivering it later this month. The success of Ola Electric’s e-bike portfolio will depend on customer response, manufacturing costs, and the scale of production. Only time will tell how the company’s future range of e-scooters and e-bikes will turn out.
