The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEBL) has issued a tender for grid-connected, ground-mounted solar power projects to be developed on a renewable energy service company (RESCO) model. The project involves the development of four lots with a cumulative capacity of 7.8 MW, and bidders must submit their proposals by February 24, 2025. The tenders will be opened on February 25, 2025.
The scope of work includes setting up the project, developing a dedicated transmission network, identifying the project land, and providing operations and maintenance services for 25 years. Successful bidders must PROMote only commercially established and operational technologies and use solar modules from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. The project must be completed within six months, and bidders must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected ground-mounted solar projects per the cumulative capacity requirement for each lot in the last seven years.
To be eligible, bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ₹13.82 million (~$158,723) for Lot I, ₹12.56 million (~$144,252) for Lot II, ₹4.75 million (~$454,553.8) for Lot III, and ₹17.89 million (~$205,467) for Lot IV. The successful bidder will be required to supply 14.607 million units of energy annually, with a minimum of 80% of the annual energy.
