Zodiac Energy, an Ahmedabad-based solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, has received its first international order to set up a 2MWp rooftop solar plant with battery energy storage in Zambia, Africa. The order is valued at approximately USD 720,626 and is expected to be completed by February 2025. The scope of work includes designing, engineering, installing, testing, and commissioning a grid-tied 2 MWp rooftop solar system with a battery energy storage system (BESS) on a turnkey basis. This order marks Zodiac Energy’s foray into the international market. The company has installed solar power plants for various prominent clients in India, including Sun-Edison India Ltd., Adani Group, and Reserve Bank of India, and has a portfolio of over 300 MW of solar capacity.
