On World Environment Day, Enlog, a Delhi-based energy intelligence startup, has made a significant commitment to reducing carbon emissions. The company has pledged to cut emissions by 40,000 tons in 2025, a tenfold increase from its achievement in 2024. Enlog specializes in using artificial intelligence (AI) to identify and eliminate electricity waste in commercial buildings, including hotels, offices, hospitals, and retail outlets. The company’s AI-powered energy management systems are currently operating in over 1,580 paying guest accommodations, 200 hotels, and other establishments.

According to Bharath RnKawat, Founder and CEO of Enlog, the key to addressing the climate crisis is not just increasing electricity generation, but also using the existing electricity more efficiently. Enlog’s technology claims to reduce electricity usage by up to 23%, resulting in lower energy bills and significant emissions savings. The company’s solution provides automated energy optimization, helping clients avoid penalties and meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

The significance of Enlog’s commitment cannot be overstated, given that buildings in India account for nearly 40% of national electricity consumption, much of which is wasted due to inefficient or unmonitored operations. By reducing electricity waste, Enlog is supporting India’s broader goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2070. The company’s technology is backed by real-time data and a system uptime of 99.8%, providing a reliable and efficient solution for its clients.

Enlog’s achievement in 2024, where it helped avoid over 4,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, demonstrates the potential of its technology to make a significant impact on reducing emissions. The company’s ambitious target of reaching 40,000 tons in 2025 and cumulatively offsetting one million tons by 2027 is a testament to its commitment to addressing the climate crisis. With over 20,000 MWh of electricity already managed and a user base of over 23,000, Enlog is positioning itself as a vital player in India’s climate strategy. By highlighting the importance of energy efficiency as a “silent climate weapon” beyond renewables, Enlog is paving the way for a more sustainable future.
