Vestas has secured a significant order from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) for the Fengmiao I offshore wind project located off the coast of Taichung, Taiwan. The order involves the supply of 33 Units of V236-15.0 MW turbines, along with a long-term comprehensive service agreement. This marks Vestas’ first firm order for its V236-15.0 MW turbine in Taiwan, further solidifying its presence in the country’s offshore wind market.
The Fengmiao I project is a major offshore wind farm development, with completion scheduled by the end of 2027. The project’s installation will utilize Vestas’ latest technology, the V236-15.0 MW turbines, which boast an impressive capacity to generate 15.0 MW of power from each unit.
