Replus, a leading manufacturer of batteries and a part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has announced a significant expansion of its production capacity. The company plans to increase its production capacity from 1GWh to 6GWh within the next year, which aims to meet the rising demand in India’s electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage sectors. The new facility will integrate advanced automation and AI-driven manufacturing to boost efficiency and sustainability while reducing its carbon footprint.

The expanded 6GWh facility will support a wide range of EVs, from passenger cars to commercial vehicles, as well as large-scale renewable energy storage solutions featuring liquid-cooled battery systems. The plant will also cater to emerging technologies like Na-ion, LMFP, and LTO.

Replus’ Managing Director and CEO, Hiren Pravin Shah, stated that the company is committed to delivering industry-leading products for EVs and energy storage system (ESS) applications. The expansion will enable Replus to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy storage globally.

Replus, a technology-driven manufacturing startup, was founded in 2019 and has established a strong presence in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) market. With a track record of 70MWh in BESS projects, Replus continues to expand its operations, securing confirmed orders for 600MWh of BESS projects and 300MWh of EV battery packs to support various energy and power applications.
