Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated a national workshop on Good Governance Practices during the Good Governance Week in New Delhi. The event highlighted transformative governance practices under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Dr. Singh emphasized the “whole-of-government” approach, which has streamlined processes, enhanced efficiency, and launched impactful social welfare initiatives. He also lauded the Swachhata Campaign, which generated ₹2,364 crores through waste monetization, freeing up office space and showcasing financial efficiency.
The Minister also discussed innovative governance reforms, including waste management initiatives, and highlighted the importance of extending good governance practices to districts and local communities. He announced plans to integrate public and private sector efforts and released an assessment report for Special Campaign 4.0, showcasing achievements in cleanliness and efficiency. An exhibition featuring “waste-to-wealth” products was also inaugurated. Dr. Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering innovative, inclusive, and sustainable governance practices, and called for continued collaboration and innovation.
