Waaree Solar Americas Inc., a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd., has started trial production of its first solar module at its new manufacturing plant in Brookshire, Texas. This marks a significant milestone for the company, making it the first Indian company to set up a solar panel manufacturing facility in the US. The plant is currently in the trial production phase, with plans to fully activate its 1.6 GW manufacturing capacity in the coming months. The event was attended by Mr. DC Manjunath, Consul General of India in Houston, who congratulated Waaree on its achievement. Mr. Sunil Rathi, President of Waaree Solar Americas Inc., expressed pride in the company’s manufacturing expertise and commitment to the global clean energy industry. He also thanked clients, employees, partners, suppliers, and local officials for their support. The company plans to expand its manufacturing footprint in the US, build a resilient domestic supply chain, and strengthen the India-US trade and energy partnership.
