LG Energy Solution Vertech has signed a multi-year agreement with Excelsior Energy Capital (Excelsior) to provide 7.5 GWhs of integrated lithium-ion energy storage projects. The agreement ensures that all projects will meet domestic content requirements and will be delivered to the US, with the first delivery expected in April 2026. This partnership builds on LG Energy Solution Vertech’s growth in the US grid-scale battery energy storage market, following a recent 8 GWh agreement with Terra-Gen, Inc. Excelsior’s Co-Founder Anne Marie Denman praised LG Energy Solution Vertech for their ability to provide exceptional services, software, and products, and for their commitment to supporting projects throughout their lifecycle. LG Energy Solution Vertech’s Head of ESS Battery Division, Hyung Kim, expressed their value in being a long-term partner to customers, supporting projects beyond commissioning to ensure their success. The agreement solidifies Excelsior’s position in the US energy storage market and LG Energy Solution Vertech’s expertise in supporting grid-scale energy storage projects.
