The TKH Group, a Netherlands-based company, has been awarded a €200 million (approximately $210 million) contract by Inch Cape Offshore to supply inter-array cables for the Inch Cape wind farm, located off the east coast of Scotland. The contract was awarded to TKF, a subsidiary of TKH. The wind farm will have a total installed capacity of 1,080 MW, which is equivalent to meeting the electricity demand of over half the homes in Scotland. The project marks a significant milestone for TKH, demonstrating its expertise and capabilities in the offshore wind industry. The inter-array cables will play a critical role in connecting the turbines to the offshore substation, enabling the transmission of electricity to the mainland grid.
