Voltalia, a renewable energy company, has sold the La Faye wind farm in France to Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR). The 12-megawatt wind farm, located in the Nord Charente region, was commissioned in 2010 and is nearing the end of its power sales contract. As part of the sale, Voltalia will provide technical management services for the plant through its subsidiary Greensolver. This sale extends the average residual term of Voltalia’s portfolio of long-term power sales contracts and continues to provide operation and maintenance services. The company is an international player in renewable energies, with 3.1 GW of capacity in operation and under construction, and a portfolio of projects under development with a total capacity of 17.2 GW. Voltalia offers a range of services, from the supply of green electricity to energy efficiency services, and has over 2,000 employees in 20 countries on three continents. The company is listed on the Euronext regulated market in Paris and included in various indices, such as the Enternext Tech 40 and CAC Mid&Small.
