Gadkari highlighted the self-reliant technology of making bamboo crash barriers in Chhattisgarh, which has the capacity to replace steel, and called for its use in construction works to encourage farmers to grow bamboo. He also emphasized the importance of cost-effective and high-quality works to help India become a self-reliant, five trillion-economy.
